High Roller Records, booklet, slipcase, poster, Mastering and audio restoration by Patrick W. Engel at TEMPLE OF DISHARMONY in September 2017
jewel case CD
UNTO OTHERS first full-length album back in print! "MANA" conjures up an
emotive 40-minute ride into the realms of heavy metal, new wave, goth
rock, and continues to solidify the band's unique brand of heavy music.
Artwork by Adam Burke.
Following Trembling Void’s inaugural demo release which offered up 7 tracks of raw, yet melodic black metal, comes the release of the new arrival’s first full-length offering: ‘The Burning Question’. Carrying on in a parallel approach whilst simultaneously refining it, this concoction of trance inducing litany shows no signs of losing the project's signature edge. Listeners will be served 7 anti-psalms which range in style from 2nd wave mainstays to something completely non genre-bound. It is in these unique moments that ‘The Burning Question’ shines bright. Thematically the album follows a soldier of darkness into the Trembling Void where he seeks an answer to the question of his existence. Futility and despair intertwine throughout this opus of bleak hopelessness. Fans of the burgeoning Canadian black metal scene take note: LP and CD release via Inferna Profundus Records and Cassette by Banner of Blood coming this fall.

After a compilation based on works from the past, Lord Valtgryftåke "Buried Under the Carved Runes" is a totally fresh and very characteristic facet of this veteran is now shown. A sound coupling of rustic, old and classic aspect of the old pioneering hordes of black metal, this work enhances with malevolent winds some of the chamber recordings, never finished rehearsals etc, all this made available again in a new and characterful album.
Leaving a really interesting overture together with an intense lyrical message, pagan and full of southern mysticism. One of the main decisions to take into consideration was to venture into the old Nordic, Greek and Polish sounds to give an evil form to this new spectrum and transcend various parameters of minimalism orchestrated by a black twilight...

Anachronism is a Swiss band formed in 2009. Drawing inspiration from a lot of different influences, from dissonant, technical and brutal death metal to jazz and prog music, the quartet is now about to release their third studio album, Meanders.
Following the self-released Orogeny from 2018 (and the Reflecting the Inside EP before that), Meanders is a work of heavy contrasts: pure blasts of violence intertwine with ambient, intimate parts or groovy drum & bass duos. On top of complex, unpredictable structures, singer Lisa Voisard’s low growls and aerials riffs make work to bring depth to the eight songs of the albums.
When asked to describe their new opus, Anachronism answered: “Sometimes we find harmonized arpeggios, sometimes we find fast and agressive moments, and in the end each song is a journey of its own, painting a different scenario”.
With their new album Anachronism shows varied atmospheres and moods, all with powerful feelings and a rich palette of emotions. Come take a tour through their Meanders.
Anachronism new album, with a cover illustration by Adam Burke, will be released via Avantgarde Music death metal division Unorthodox Emanations on January 28th, 2023.
