'The Darkness at the Edge of Dawn' is THV sixth album, another step forward in Ryan Wilson's musical evolution on board of this project.
Originally know for its funeral doom roots, The Howling Void since a few releases is breathing on new atmospheres, with melodic yet melancholic vocals and musical textures evoking infinite foggy landscapes rather than oppressive corridors….
Eroded Coridors of Unbeing’ is a unique and claustrophobic voyage, cavernous yet full of clarity. Here, SPECTRAL VOICE is the sound of one’s soul going further down the abyss…and they’re taking you with them.

"The Sachem's Tales is an amazing work of solid, agonizing and intense feelings cutting black metal. Behind the music there lies a melodic agreement with the guitars and the synthesizer sounds, kind of giving a counterpoint to each, but all joining in the end for fantastic melodic landscapes. From worlds of mythologies and legends, the lyrics never saturate, even on the predictable despair of the clean female voice and strings moments."

“During the last few years we have had many people asking from us about the availability of our earlier albums, the vinyl versions of both and also the debut cd being sold out for some time now. We have been promising a repress basically since 2011, when the vinyls first came out, and we are very happy to say this is finally being realized.
To us both Muukalainen puhuu and Kosmonument nowadays sound something like a different band, but they still embody many of our principal musical ideas in songs like Korppi or Kaaos hallitsee
Carrying the banner of RAW 80s' thrash high and proud, Spain's undisputed rulers of axe thrash metal return with their third strike. Leaving no neck unharmed in its wake, Metal Fist Destroyer is as subtle as a bazooka up your ass. If you worship at the altar of Blood Fire Death, Obsessed By Cruelty, War And Pain, Seven Churches and the likes you don't want to miss this filthy beast.
In times when the renunciation of the origin is fashionable and dilutes its essence,
DEGIAL comes and redifenes the abominable sacred core of DEATH METAL!
After the successful debut "Death's Striking Wings" in 2012 and the praised sophomore album "Savage Mutiny" in 2015
they return with their most violent & merciless album in their career.
"PREDATOR REIGN" is an intonation of the devil´s wrath and it is a lesson in
how Death Metal has to sound and how it is to be presented.
A 39 minutes ride of perfectly skilled and performed furiousness.
A top notch production by Mersus in the Underground-Studio and a straight but bewitching artwork
by Paolo Girardi and Erik Danielsson leave no questions unanswered.
Gasp for air within a pure maelstrom of crushing riffs, drum-explosions, solo-shredding and bestial vocals.
Moreover among all this madness the band is still able to create mindripping harmonies that will haunt your dreams.
Evolution is a long and complex process, which requires several, if not many different phases. Hornwood Fell, from the woods of central Italy, now reach the third landmark in their career, and keep on changing.
Sharp riffs are now mixed with more intricate patterns, the odd psychedelic hints sprout here and there, but what is mostly surprising is a completely new approach to vocals. Spanning from crystal-clean singing in the vein of bands like Novembre, to darker, harsher performances, this new approach brings the band way farther from the Norwegian forests of their beginnings and leads them towards personal, uncharted lands.
The straight, uncompromising yet derivative attitude of their self-titled debut has become more surprising, unpredictable and varied.
From the rugged, rain-swept coastline of Bjoergvin, enclosed within the looming embrace of seven mountains, emerges the seventh full-length album
It is fresh, yet traditional in spirit. It is familiar to the ear, yet unexpectedly proceeds
to wind its sinuous and unpredictable way through a soundscape that only a mother could love. A soundscape underscored by a nasty groove, that at times
can appear deceptively playful. Taake still today manages to stay relevant and at the forefront of the genre, and, true to form, Hoest, who plays every
instrument on "Kong Vinter" himself, has ensured that the album is imbued with the unique Taake sound whilst at the same time developing it further.
"Kong Vinter" is both progressive and straight forward, with a touch of the devil's own music - rock’n’roll. This is unmistakably Taake, and, as always,
Hoest has produced an intense work that surprises and enthrals.
Brace yourselves for a freezing journey through the merciless Norwegian winter, because the winter takes it all.
