For their new album Scour Order, their sixteenth release, Krallice comes full circle and returns to Profound Lore (who initially released the band’s first three releases) with a new album that is raging and dark, dense but also expansive. One that slightly recalls the earlier phase of the band yet continues in the forward-thinking/next level singular sonic histrionics that the band have continued to expand and morph upon throughout the years. Mike Lamb (Sojourner) and Heike Langhans (Sojourner, ex-Draconian) are back with their personal gothic/doom project, Remina. The duo’s sophomore album, The Silver Sea, will follow their 2022 debut Strata and will be released on October 24th 2025 on CD and digital, once again via Avantgarde Music. Here follows the band’s statement.

The Silver Sea was written over the three year period following the release of our debut album Strata, and it is the product of the changes we experienced as both a band and on a personal level.

Remina took to the stage for the first time in 2023, and through this process we got to spend a lot of time in beautiful northern Italy bringing to life live versions of our songs with our excellent live lineup. The process of seeing how our sound translated to a live setting ultimately impacted how we approached this album. We didn't want to deviate from our vision for the band or the sound, but we did incorporate a much more musically 'direct' approach in the way the songs were written this time around. This was helped massively by the excellent drum tracking of Shayne Roos, who lifted our original ideas to an entirely new level. We are also honored to be joined by guest vocal spots from two musicians we greatly look up to, Mick Moss of Antimatter (Algol) and Tony Dunn of Sgàile (Vanta Ray).

On a personal level, we were dealing with the decision of having to uproot our lives in Europe and move back to New Zealand to be closer to family. The weight of the decision to move across the world, so far from the lives we had built, was reflected in the overarching themes and atmosphere of the album. While each song deals with its own subject matter, there is an overarching story running throughout as an invisible thread tying the album together.

In the five years of relative silence since their previous studio venture, the world music pioneers were searching for a way out of the darkness that’s descended over reality. The path that they discovered didn’t lead back to their home in the harsh northern forest region of Karelia but away from it, into the coldness of the city and a collapsing civilization. By reconnecting with their electronic roots, THEODOR BASTARD are reborn on a new album mysteriously called 'V'.

'V' reflects just how much has changed since the world last heard from the band. While still widely recognized internationally as leaders for ritual folk and world music, THEODOR BASTARD have re-embraced their early electronic impulses because that’s now how modern life feels: cold, sharp, tense. Long-time fans were pleasantly surprised when the pulse-pounding analog synths of “Nebo” first appeared in the award-winning Russian crime drama ‘The Method’, but the album’s lead single is a sure sign that they’re bound for dark new horizons. Like a space shuttle, “Sverkay” rumbles with distorted bass before it’s suspended high above the earth by a trap-like beat.

“Vdokh – vydokh” ("inhale - exhale"), sings a bewitching Yana Veva as she glimpses what’s to come from our dangerous endgame with war, technology and social division. To a world that’s mired in its own deadly trance, 'V' arrives like a much-needed slap across the face. The album was created during a long and trying period for THEODOR BASTARD. It offers little comfort: its anger, confusion and disappointment are hurled at the outside world, which through our own actions, is tipping over the edge. The aggressive “Vedma” surges with black cosmic energy, as if summoning the apocalypse. But the band aren’t without hope. At their core, the ritual spirit remains. “Ostavlyaem” dances as light as a feather, only to transcend this earth for a place amongst the stars.

DJEVELSORT is a new Norwegian black metal act from Hamar, combining atmospheric intensity with dark symphonic and progressive elements, born primarily as a solo project led by songwriter Tom Hagen. After more than two decades as a drummer, he stepped away from the drum kit in 2019 to pursue a more personal musical vision on guitar, drawing inspiration from the legacy of 1990s Scandinavian black metal. The debut album “Peril Of Freedom” consists of seven tracks composed and recorded between 2024 and 2025.
The album merges atmospheric riffs, orchestral arrangements, and strong melodic lines to create a sound that is both immersive and expansive; a central element of the album’s sonic identity is the fretless bass performed by Rich Gray (Annihilator), adding a fluid and progressive dimension that stands out within the genre. Inspired by artists such as Dimmu Borgir, Emperor, and early Ulver, “Peril Of Freedom” balances grand, epic soundscapes with a more introspective and atmospheric intensity.
