Pagan black metal band formed in 1991 in Wrocław, Poland.
Graveland’s style has changed from raw black metal on the early albums to a more epic sound which is inspired by Hammerheart-era Bathory. Lyrically, on the early works Rob Darken was inspired by Celtic beliefs, now he’s Wotanism-orientated and calls his music “epic pagan metal”.
ANCIENT GUARD is a new creation of Nightwolf, renown for pagan black metal vanguard RUNESPELL. As expected, his unmistakable mastery is all across Nightfall Enthroned, ANCIENT GUARD's first public work. A surprisingly vast mini-album at four songs in 31 minutes, Nightfall Enthroned is immersive to the extreme and almost soothing in its continually cresting swell of sumptuous black metal mysticism. While RUNESPELL's no-less-grandiose sound is oft given to bouts of bloodlust and battle rage, ANCIENT GUARD is pure magisterial march & might as can be expected of such a moniker. And Nighttwolf's knack for mesmerizing melodicism holds true here, as well, but if one could make distinctions in this regard, it's that Nightfall Enthroned swirls about to a spacious-yet-thick foundation that's equal parts stargazing wonder and weight-of-the-universe terror - an infinitely compelling canvas equally suited to adrift dreamers and austere realists alike. Followed by the acoustic lament "Eld," the synth-heavy epic "A Moonscape Abyss" says exactly everything it needs to about ANCIENT GUARD: awaken to Nightfall Enthroned!
“Embers of the Fallen” is the highly anticipated second full-length album from Belgian black metal band DOLCHSTOSS, known for their fierce dedication to the destruction and devastation of World War I.
Following “War is Eternal”, The music on this new offering is a powerful assault of fast tempo riffs, blasting drums and epic guitar leads which will sometimes lead you into a military march. The vocals are raw and aggressive, adding to the overall atmosphere of a Sturmpanzerwagen war machine crushing through the battlefield.
Tracks like “MG08”, “Ruins of Rowel” and “Forced March” will certainly delight fans of Marduk, Funeral Mist, and Kanonenfieber who will appreciate the ferocity and intensity of this album.
This CD version comes in a 3-part Digipack and includes a 12 pages booklet and a picture printed CD.
MARTHE is the solo project of Marzia, worldwide known for being Horror Vacui's guitar player and for drumming in Kontatto, Tuono, Campus Sterminii, Death From Above, Doxie and countless other bands. Between one practice and another with the aforementioned bands, she found the time to sit down by herself and record the tunes that became the "Sisters Of Darkness" demo tape, self-released a year ago and then repressed on tape by Caligari Records (USA). I'm personally not too much into metal, but the four songs on this demo blew my minds and I think they deserve to be released on vinyl too. Fans of Bathory's second wave will love this one so much that Marzia will be crowned as the Queen of Valkyrian Metal. Everything on this record has been written, performed and mixed by Marzia. Mastered by Jack Control at Enormous Door .

”Djevelkraft” gathered enough attention in 2021 to boost MYRONATH quotations and their third opus, “Inferno”, delivers a perfectly structured Swedish black metal record, balanced between bangers, sulphuric mid-tempos and melodic breaks. Guided by the harsh but understandable vocals of Hellcommander Vargblood and sustained by a blasting drumwork and killer riffings, the nine compositions of “Inferno” deal with occult matter, anti-christian themes and hellish landscapes.
“Inferno” was recorded, mixed and mastered at Endarker Sudio, in Norrköping by Devo Andersson (Marduk)

LAETITIA IN HOLOCAUST was born in 2001 by Stefano G. and Nicola D.A. and nowadays plays a technical and progressive form of extreme metal with heavy influences from black metal. "Laetitia" means happiness, "holocaust" means sacrifice: so the moniker stands for "happiness in sacrifice".
Main sources of inspiration lie in somber visions, past times, dream omens, philosophy, darkness and war.
LIH's fifth full album - after an interesting effort such as the EP "I Fall With The Saints" released in 2021 - is entitled “FANCIULLI D’OCCIDENTE”, and the title is both a memorandum and a wish.
A memorandum for today's people of any age: the visions and values of those who shaped the history of Europe, that is, its children, our ancestors, are sacred and cannot be lost. A wish for our children: may you be worthy of the blood shed by the Children of the West.
LIH plays a blend of avantgarde black metal rooted in the visions created by acts such as Ved Buens Ende, later Spite Extreme Wing or the mighty Mayhem in their "Grand Declaration Of War" vibes
With an inception going back to 2019, Defacement rapidly gained momentum within the underground realms with two full-length records marked by an intense and experimental take on death and black metal, Deviant (2019) and self-titled Defacement (2021). Three long years after their latest output, the international band flares its cryptic head yet again with an epic tome of twisted and gnarly emanations, an immersive pathway into the void entitled Duality.
Defacement's third studio record is challenging and confrontational in its invocation of primal forces lying dormant in the world below. Inspired by the unfathomable, shadowy corners of human existence, Defacement hatches a penetrating sonic journey, unpredictable in its own dynamic, ever-changing form. Intricate and complex riffing lay as a basis for dexterous melodies, making Duality the most complete and mature among the band’s outputs. The cold and experimental interludes entangled between tracks, serve as halting moments that further the conceptuality of Duality and broaden the gist of the main songs.
The tremendous rhythmic section, a complex and throbbing pulse of drumming fierceness and serpentine bass playing, is superiorly captured by the dynamic and organic production, a vigorous sound that evokes both an oppressive aura and wistful solemnity. Gabriele Gramaglia (Cosmic Putrefaction, Vertebra Atlantis) and Simon Da Silva (Aversio Humanitatis) took care respectively of the mixing and mastering, finely crafting the details of Defacement’s new album.
As the album unfolds, so does the narrative of death's unwritten pages, each track a testament to the inevitability of oblivion. While firmly rooted in black metal, the album is full of variation ranging from fast-paced blasts to doom-like passages and everything in between. The riffs pay homage to the iconic black metal bands of the 90s that shaped the genre, all the while carving out their own distinct trajectory. To create that extra layer of atmosphere, the songs are adorned with evocative acoustic & lead guitars and subtle synths.
