Cold Fell is a Black Metal band from Manchester, England, named after a mountain in the Northern Pennines. Their music reflects the outsider spirit and abrasive landscape of the North of England, from the weekend violence of dying satellite towns to the grimy back alleys and decaying industrial follies of the cities.

Originally released in 2015, ÁRSTÍÐIR's third album 'Hvel' offers atmospheric, hauntingly beautiful songs that take elements of folk, rock, and classical music among other styles, which are arranged into new patterns that have invited comparison with RADIOHEAD, SIMON & GARFUNKEL, PENTANGLE, ÓLAFUR ARNALDS, and most of all SIGUR RÓS. The latter happens perhaps inevitably due to superficial similarities as ÁRSTÍÐIR often sing in their native Icelandic tongue and use acoustic instruments extensively.

Herzogian Darkness is a shadowy plunge into strange, shapeshifting depths. It is recognizably black metal by sound and vision - and, more or less, by name - but the febrile sensations these mysterious Poles emit elude safe 'n' staid categorization. Not for nothing do MEDICO PESTE here transform Bauhaus' classic "Stigmata Martyr" into one of their own, idiosyncratic creations.

The eerie quietness of the first couple of minutes of Children Of The Eye announces the coming storm, and the nine explosive, cathartic minutes of this opening song hold in themselves all the strikingly disparate emotions that we have come to expect from Amenra. Mass VI is an emotional rollercoaster until its very last second, until Diaken is abruptly ended at its very climax, as the last breath of an expiring life.
