Founded in 1994 and laied to rest in 2012, LUNAR AURORA during their existence released 9 full length albums, two demos and some split releases with SECRETS OF THE MOON, PAYSAGE D‘HIVER and NORDLYS.
Partly atmospheric, partly aggressive but always unique and special, LUNAR AURORA created a deep and mysteries sound full of grim Black Metal with symphonic, ambient and modern classical elements.

After the picture-disc edition in 2024, we are proud to now offer you an edition on classic black wax from LUNAR AURORAs last magnum opus Hoagascht too.
All lyrics are in the Upper Bavarian dialect. A Hoagascht (local varieties include Hoangartn, Huigert or Hoimgarta) is a term usually used in southern Germany and Austria for a local musical gathering featuring folk musicians.
This album was originally released in 2012 by Cold Dimension Records and marks the end of the band and the cooperation between Whyrhd and Aran.

In the coming months, Darkness Shall Rise Productions will release all of the bands releases in a special deluxe Pic. LP edition, including sleeve, 12-page inserts with new liner notes, poster, download-card etc.
To start with this amazing project, we decided to first release the great and highly appreciated final output Hoagascht from 2012 and the bands grim and majestetic 7^th album Mond from 2005.

Vinyl-Masters were done again by Patrick W. Engel at Temple Of Disharmony.
There are no plans to make a vinyl-box (unlike a tape box which will definitely come later) with all albums, so all these Pic. LP releases will be only available as stand-alone releases.

WOLVES IN THE THRONE ROOM celebrate two decades as one of the most evocative and unique bands in North American Black Metal with the anniversary release of their original 2005 Demo! Originally recorded in Olympia, Washington as a prelude to the band's landmark "Diadem of 12 Stars" full length, the 2005 Demo features the original versions of "Queen of the Borrowed Light", the exclusive track "Dagger of Amethyst Crystal", and "(A Shimmering Radiance) Diadem of Twelve Stars".

Although it had a very troubled birth, all detailed in the liner notes included with those different versions here, CRADLE OF FILTH almost-album-length 1996 EP V Empire, Or Dark Faerytales In Phallustein proved to be a superb triumph over adversity.

Despite all their legal problems, line-up changes and insane pressure after the gigantic success of their debut album, the Brits nevertheless managed to write and record a slab of new even grander songs, next to a new version of the already classic ‘The Forest Whispers My Name’, some would argue even bettering their debut in the process.

Another undeniable 90s symphonic black metal masterpiece, available again for the first time officially since 2017!

Band's first ever recordings which meant to be the precursor of their legendary 'Archaïa' 1977 debut LP. Played & recorded by the initial members Michel Munier & Pierrick Le Bras, on Revox R-t-R recorder, long before Philippe Bersan's arrival, this tape provides a sacramental & ritual aspect Archaïa's duet expressed at the time! The absolute environment of primitive paganism, rite & worship! Rumor has it, the tape was sold on a flea market by Pierrick for unknown reasons...However, no matter what rumors say, Mutant Embryo Records is thrilled to have unburied this tape for the first time after almost half a century!!!
