Vendita vinili - musica Black Metal e Dark estrema
Established by two girls from the Dresden area, Satyra and Melpomene, both heavily involved in
the rich local underground, ALTAR OV ASTERIA was envisioned and formed through its members'
shared influence of black metal. The goal of the band's material, embodied in their "Éna" debut, is to
balance visceral energy with enveloping atmosphere and dark melody, creating a sound both
rooted in black metal tradition and expansive new avantgarde sounds.
"Imagine you would wake up in a world full of mysteries and realities woven into each other, like in a
story book of the past centuries of Dante Alighieri or Homer. Two black-robed mysteries in
gold-snake masks wake you up from the heavy dorm with blackened sirens crushing your ears,
mesmerizing your mind to sense the allegories of humankind existence. You’ve got an invitation to a
storybook of hellish Sodom, chapter by chapter illustrating thy and foreign dystopia".

The Magus concluding Necromantia‘s chapter with the album “To The Depths We Descend…” -with which he honored his longtime collaborator Baron Blood who passed away so suddenly in 2019- found himself at a crossroads.
He had to choose between retiring after a long and successful musical career and charting a new path. He didn’t hesitate at all. He chose the hard way. Necromantia no longer exists, but the protagonist is here, on the ramparts, ready for new journeys in abyss. For a whole year he secluded himself from worldly affairs and devoted exclusively to the composition of “Vissodomontas“, which is the title that seals the debut album of his new project THE MAGUS.
“Vissodomontas” is an album that is meticulous down to its last detail. Every note, every riff & chorus, is not by chance where it was placed. Except El (Guitars) & Maelstorm (Drums) who make up THE MAGUS, a host of well-known musicians participated adding their personal touch (King Dude, IDVex (1/2 SOUTHERN NORTH), Hel Pyre (W.E.B.), Iraklis Gialatzides (SWAN CHRISTY) & Christos Antoniou (SEPTICFLESH) who did the arrangements for the live choir. At the same time, five graphic designers tackled the artwork of all formats and captured in an exemplary way on paper the nightmarish thoughts of The Magus. Finally, a special mention is needed for the amazing production, mixing & mastering, done at Pentagram Studio by George Emmanuel.

Death metal band Eternal Dirge was formed in 1986 and released four demos and 2 full length albums. They played an early American style of death metal blended with Teutonic thrash, different to any other European death metal band of the time. Their second album from 1996 "Khaos Magick", showed a similar contempt for contemporary metal trends. There were no concessions to the more popular metallic sounds of that time; groove metal, melodic death metal, black metal. Eternal Dirge were a genuine band with their own sound. They made music that reflected their interests and Lovecraftian worldview. Khaos Magick is the most dark yet atmospherically album from their catalogue. Somewhere comparable to early Septic Flesh or Rotting Christ & Necromantia with the dark keyboard sounds and repetitive riffs or even Nocturnus. And of course the heavily rooted German Death and thrash metal influences
