Cult black metal act INQUISITION exploded from the underground with 2013's full-length 'Obscure Verses For The Multiverse'. Prior to the release of this critically-acclaimed masterpiece, the American duo had unleashed five other albums that all contributed in establishing INQUISITION as a rising black star on the extreme metal scene. Originally published in 2007 and long out of print, ‘Nefarious Dismal Orations' further established the band's trademark chainsaw riffs and ominous vocals croaking odes to the infinite and satanic alike. Foreshadowing INQUISITION's arrival as the new kings of darkness and now adorned with brand new cover art designed Paolo Girardi, the album's original nine paeans to the occult are at once hostile, hypnotic, and bombastic.

Adorn is more than just a musical endeavour; it is an act of devotion—to the transcendence of art once liberated from the sterile confines of modernity, to the melancholy of deserted halls, and to the fading glimmer of courtly love. At the helm is Coeur Loyale (vocals, guitar, bass), whose soul-shaped songs seek to revive a dreamed, not simply lost, world. He is joined by Valliant Desire (violin, piano, choral arrangements), whose melodies sound like ghosted letters from ancient hands, and Bon Valour (drums), whose rhythms echo through cathedral ruins like hooves.

Together, they form Adorn, a sacred community of song and sorrow that resurrects the grandeur of the past by utilising the emotional majesty of the present. They take listeners to a world of twilight where the stars are low, the roses never die, and the heart endures, ever ablaze with noble intent. Emerging from the spectral wilderness of Northern Finland — following the labyrinthine voices rising from totemic depths and guided by the Fire from Beyond — Unfyros channels a force born of darkness, solitude, and the pursuit of transcendence. For the first time ever, a salacious selection of EDGE OF SANITY's obscure, earliest recordings are available officially. Titled “Elegy - Chapter I”, the band’s early (promo, rehearsal or studio) demos “Euthanasia” (1989), “The Immortal Rehearsals” (1990), “kur-nu-gi-a” (1990), “The Dead” (1990) and “Dead But Dreaming” (1991) were hearsed from the cemetary to the mortuary for reanimation by songwriter/frontman/producer Dan Swanö (Opeth, Dissection, Bloodbath).

Featuring a brand-new, hand-drawn cover by visual artist Mark Rudolph (Carcass, Undeath), “Elegy - Chapter I” is by the old guard for all guards to relive or unearth afresh. EDGE OF SANITY weren’t always on the bleeding edge of death metal. No, on “Elegy - Chapter I” the Swedes actually bled death metal. This is a collection of underground old school Swedish death metal at its best!

All five demos have been remastered by Swanö, with the 13 tracks of “Euthanasia”, “kur-nu-gi-a” and “The Dead”.

With the band being fully active again on the live (and recording) front, Cosmic Key Creations is making a big part of the bands discography available on limited and deluxe vinyl editions.
This is the IN TIMES BEFORE THE LIGHT debut album but in a different version than the original 1997 record. In 2002 it was completely remixed and partly re-recorded to fit better with the new musical direction of the band. It’s a very interesting and rare piece of work and now available again in a deluxe and very limited edition
