Akouphenom is a Blackened Death Metal band embodying different influences, from Doom to Noise, with the ambition to reflect absolute evil in their creations. The word Akouphenom comes from a twist on the word tinnitus, a real consequence of the band’s prolific live activities.
Akouphenom was born in 2014, with the first rehearsal sessions between Dragon (vocals and guitars) and Prgich (drums). The following years saw the band focusing on live activities and releasing two different splits, as well as facing some line-up changes, yet never reaching the goal of a full-length studio album. Now the wait is finally over, as Akouphenom will release Death·Chaos·Void in October.
Death·Chaos·Void is a concept album divided into six chapters, which the band explains as a journey to unveil the truths of the Arkhé, the natural law, which is no more than an extension of the chaotic reality of the human condition.
Akouphenom's debut album is a hymn to the three ruling powers of existence: death, chaos and the void, leaders, kings and conquerors for all eternity.

Australian experimental metal band Bolt Gun return with their 3rd full length album The Tower. Since their first release in 2014, Bolt Gun have continued to push the boundaries of heavy music, adopting a semi-improvised style that combines elements of black metal, post-metal, noise and dark ambient.
The Tower is inspired by the literary works of Brian Evenson, Franz Kafka and Shirley Jackson and explores themes of isolation, extinction, absurdity and nihilism. Written throughout 2020 to 2022, the album expands on Bolt Gun’s interest in the dynamic possibilities of using ambient music within extreme metal.
The expansive tracks pull listeners into tornadoes of drone, noise and saxophone which then explode into more post-metal/black metal sounds. The music on The Tower is heavily influenced by 2nd wave black metal, experimental heavy bands such as Locrian and Swans in addition to the work of Colin Stetson and Bohren & der Club of Gore.

VRAJITOR'S TENEBRARIUM is a new, obscure and esoteric project by Vrajitor, mastermind behind various other musical ventures such as Warmoon Lord and Argenthorns.
The idea for Tenebrarium was planted years ago, but the debut album, mystically titled E.N.L.D. was composed, recorded and mixed in the Winter of 2022-2023.
Being a lifelong fan of horror and exploitation film music (most particularly Italian) Vrajitor completed the album with the help of various cryptic collaborators.
Musically inspired by artists and composers like Goblin, Jacula, Devil Doll, Fabio Frizzi, Bruno Nicolai, and Riz Ortolani the lyrics are bizarre stories of black magic and witchcraft. File under occult prog, dungeon funk, and giallo italiano.

WEREWOLF RECORDS is proud to present SORGETID's striking debut album, Natt av Tusen Dödsfall
SORGETID exclusively play Nordic black metal, from Finland. The name SORGETID may be new, but the creator behind it isn't: Finnish underground veteran V-Khaoz, renown for such bands as VARGRAV, DRUADAN FOREST, GRIEVE, and EMBRYONIC SLUMBER among many others, stretching back to the late '90s. With SORGETID itself, V-Khaoz indeed delves even deeper (and earlier) into the '90s, presenting vintage obsidian, both style- and production-wise, that respects the now-ancient time when black metal was only made by individuals who were truly dedicated to it. "In my reality, no other kind of black metal exists," he firmly states.
“Et Hav av Avstand" is the 8th full-length studio album from the legendary Norwegian Black Metal band Taake.
It consists of four songs clocking in at 42 minutes, displaying some of the finest songwriting yet from this epic one-man band.
Fierce, but melancholy. Vigorously old-school but also progressive. retaining that unfiltered sense of unique rawness that is synonymous with Hoest’s charismatic sound and musical identity.
Taake still manages to stay relevant and at the forefront of the genre and Hoest, who plays every instrument on the album, has ensured that the album is imbued with the unique Taake sound whilst at the same time developing it further.
This is unmistakably Taake, and as always, an intense work that surprises and enthrals.
Pressed on black/bone galaxy effect heavy vinyl. Comes with a 4-page insert and a download card. Colors on final record may vary to a degree from the mockup.

BLACK VINYL
Back in the mid 2000’s Norwegian Black Metal was but a faint memory. With the originators treading different paths from where it all started, a craving for what once was needed to be refueled. A small group of individuals from Trondheim, Nidaros found each other and reignited that flame. Through the same malicious intent of creating havoc yet again, distancing ourselves from the current Norwegian ‘scene’, the Nidrosian movement began. This was never meant to be a selling point, nor has it ever been a gang mentality.
It’s simply a handful very different individuals treading the same left hand path, dabbling with aspects of Black Metal unheard of since the glory days. I won’t go into details and incriminate people around me like a certain Count once did, but let’s just say the stories are endless and something we fondly look back at to this day, and dare I say the spirit of old still runs deeply through our veins.
The reason why all projects that flourished from our band of brothers sound different, yet firmly rooted in Black Metal, is due to each project having different masterminds. Everyone contributed by aiding each other. Several demos and projects arose, but one specifically stood out by far very early on. A project that to this day stands like a pillar of Norwegian Black Metal history; KAOSRITUAL.
The band was founded, rehearsed and recorded based off our interpretations of early 90’s Black Metal. The era of murder, arson, Black Magick and spite. I firmly believe what you hear on these recordings, are the same chaos that fueled the originators, and is as genuine as the old classics. I was sitting right there alongside H. "Sarath" Dalen, while he recorded this on tape in the basement of our record store Apocalyptic Empire, in the heart of Nidaros back in 2005. Reminiscing back, I’ll never forget the intense atmosphere, dedication and focus the band had, something I’ve never experienced since, just like their live shows. Nothing will ever compare. The store was very much exactly what Helvete was in the 90’s: a record store ran by us for us, with a basement where recordings were happening non stop, even during the opening hours. The basement was a collective ground for us where lifelong friendships arose, parties ensued, and inspirations were endless. Imagine locking up a bunch of miscreants devoted to the same cause, with no boundaries, no thought or respect for anyone, just all focused on one thing: BLACK METAL. This was always for ourselves, hence why releases are so sporadic. I am truly grateful to not only having been there throughout the beginning, but to have been granted the exclusive right to release several of these gems, and to be able to call these genuine artists and individuals my close friends to this day.
We present to you the restored version of the one and only KAOSRITUAL - Svøpt morgenrød, plus the infamous Rituell katarsis demo and more, remastered by our friend M. of MGLA/No Solace. A special thanks to him for adding his magick to these incredible recordings, and I want to personally thank Blix and Tvedt for letting me finally unleash this upon the world.

Oklahoma’s Chat Pile have had an exciting 2022; they released their album God’s Country, toured the midwest and east coast in support of the album, announced their appearance at Roadburn Festival 2023, and while the band is working on LP2, they’re revealing details for their score for the indie film Tenkiller. While not a proper full-length album, the Tenkiller score was written and recorded in the winter of 2020, and it waxes and wanes from the signature Chat Pile sound but also ventures into new ones— including arena country music. The band comments, “The music we made for Tenkiller is quite a bit different than what you may come to expect from us. We were given the freedom to really experiment and explore territories that we’ve never done before.” They continue, “It’s not going to be for everyone, but we hope some of you connect with what we set out to do.” “Chat Pile bring a sense of dirt and squalor to the table.” —The FADER “Oklahoma City’s Chat Pile are the perfect people to expose the dark, seedy underbelly of American life.” —Paste Magazine “Cleansingly punishing.” —Stereogum “Harrowing.” —Pitchfork
