LVME steadfastly uphold the essence of traditional Black Metal while boldly broadening their musical scope. “Of Sinful Nature” presents five expertly crafted tracks that defy conventions. This album is an intense Black Metal sermon, marked by a fluid fusion of complex riffs and surprising twists; a powerful expression of raw, unbridled and rebellious energy.
“Of Sinful Nature” stands out with its authentic production quality – a real treat for those familiar with the feral force of an analogue drum kit. The album’s production harks back to the organic sound of earlier decades, enriched with the grit of all-analogue mastering.
Once you immerse yourself in “Of Sinful Nature”, you’ll be swept away by its commanding presence for forty-five minutes. This album is an experience to be embraced and surrendered to, a celebration of Black Metal and its conquering spirit.
"Sumerian Cry" is the debut album by Swedish gothic metal veterans TIAMAT, originally released in 1990.
The album was recorded at Sunlight Studio, Stockholm, Sweden, in 1989, when the band was known under the original name Treblinka. The track "Sumerian Cry, Pt. 1" is a re-interpretation of the intro melody from "Crawling in Vomit", the first track off Treblinka's first demo. Since the mid-90's Tiamat has been employing a live keyboard player for all of their concerts, hiring them from well-known metal acts such as Opeth, Dark Tranquillity, Cradle of Filth and Evergrey.

Their particular brand of dense, doomy death metal makes great neighbors with the likes of Aethyrvorous, Cruciamentum, Encoffination, and Vasaeleth, but often has some great mid-tempo chugging sections similar to Undergang. Always stoked when a new festering boil rears it's head on the death metal scene,
No longer one of the metal underground's best-kept secrets, VALDRIN began picking up momentum with the 2018 BLOOD HARVEST release of their second album, Two Carrion Talismans - epic, shapeshifting blackened death that was both timeless and fresh - and then eclipsed that achievement two years later with third album Effigy of Nightmares, also released by BLOOD HARVEST, whereby the band dove deeply into the bluish purple depths of '90s melodic black metal. To hear comparisons to Vinterland, Sacramentum, and Sweden's Dawn wasn't mere hyperbole; it was assertive truth, as commanding as VALDRIN's songwriting mastery. Which is to say nothing of the band's ongoing Ausadjur Mythos, a fantastical tale begun with their Beyond the Forest debut album and which forms the lyrical basis of all since.
