An historical past versus an uncertain future, a trip to occult sessions, weird creatures & robots from a parallel universe through the eerie sound of this zeuhlish/experimental duo. Haunting vocals, vintage synths, acid guitars & electronics are among others the basic elements composing the album's atmosphere.

With such a massive catalogue, a "best of" compilation will always lead to controversy about certain additions as well as omissions from the final list, but the involvement of frontman Sakis Tolis himself in this difficult task ensures that the result is at least relevant.

Duplicate Records proudly presents EXECRATION's full-length debut album Syndicate Of Lethargy on vinyl for the first time. Remastered and re-edited, and with a new cover artwork, the album is finally available in its definite edition, on the fomat it deserves!

Formed in 2004, Execration - a two-piece, at the time - recorded their first demo in 2005: six heavily thrash-inspired songs and a cover of Celtic Frost's "Into The Crypts of Rays". In 2006, original member Jorgen Maristuen returned to the band, and the focus shifted towards death metal. They wrote and recorded their first 5 song EP, Language of the Dead. The EP was released in early 2007 through Entartete Musik, the now defunct label of Espen Hangaard (Noplacetohide, Killl, She Said Destroy, Diskord).

In addition to the half hour long EP itself the full-length LP will include the previously unreleased 10-minute track Imminent Doom, that was intended for a compilation that never came to fruition.

EXECRATION's (Norway) second full-length album, "Odes of the Occult" contains 9 tracks of vicious, evil death metal. It parts with the percussive style of previous releases in favor of a wider set of influences drawing from death metal, doom and cult black metal. In 60+ minutes, "Odes of the Occult" will make your ears bleed from dark, brutal doom-laced death metal chemically cleansed of any "modern" death metal tricks.

Duplicate Records proudly presents Nimmermeer, the debut album from Norwegian atmospheric doom outfit HJEMLENGSEL on LP and CD. The double vinyl LP version includes the band's debut EP (2010) as a bonus, exclusive to this format.

The story of Hjemlengsel (Norwegian for homesickness) dates back to
2004/2005, and it all started with a wish to create music without
genre defining boundaries. In 2009 the band recorded a self-titled EP,
which was released digitally in 2010. After a period in hibernation,
the first full length album was completed during the summer of 2021,
and is finally ready to be released winter 2024.

The music on Nimmermeer (Dutch for nevermore) is best described as
atmospheric, sometimes progressive, melodic (not quite) doom,
dominated by long instrumental passages with sparse, clean vocals
throughout. There's a cold, arctic atmosphere permeating the material,
with the crystal clear production perfectly suiting the carefully
orchestrated compositions. Yet, amid the cold landscapes, there's a
comforting warmth, providing the beautiful duality of the natural
elements so perfectly ingrained in HJEMLENGSEL's sound.
